The hottest ticket of the summer is now the tastiest one as well. 


The 2025 Mubadala Citi DC Open, one of only 10 combined ATP/WTA events in the world, will feature seven Michelin-starred chefs along with some of DC’s most beloved restaurants in what has become the annual Hottest Ticket of the Summer in the Nations Capital. The tournament has sold out for the last four years with its elite lineup of players and a renowned off-court fan experience featuring world-class dining, shopping and entertainment and is expected to sell out again weeks before the first match. The 56th edition of the tournament will take July 19–27, 2025 at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Rock Creek Park.


This year’s player field features seven top-10 players across the ATP & WTA Tours, five Grand Slam champions, the top nine American men and many fan favorites. Competing players include DC’s own and World No. 12 Frances Tiafoe, 2024 US Open finalist and World No. 5 Taylor Fritz and US Open Finalist and World No. 3 Jessica Pegula, four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka, World No. 10 Ben Shelton, World No. 10 and former UVA star Emma Navarro, and 2021 US Open champion Daniil Medvedev alongside defending champions Paula Badosa and Sebastian Korda.

 

In addition to the on-court action and numerous opportunities for fans to interact with the world’s best players including daily autographs sessions, meet-and-greets, tennis talks and Kids’ Day, the tournament continues to revolutionize the tennis fan experience by partnering with beloved and award-winning DC restaurateurs and premium sponsors to deliver unprecedented food and beverage options at a sports event.

 

VIP attendees will enjoy exclusive high-end offerings from several of Washington’s most celebrated chefs. This year’s lineup includes 2024 James Beard Award winner Michael Rafidi of Albi; Nick Stefanelli of Masseria; 3 Michelin-starred chef Patrick O’Connell of The Inn at Little Washington, returning with his famed truffle popcorn; beloved chef and philanthropist José Andrés, bringing refreshing gazpacho; Jeremiah Langhorne of The Dabney, who will be serving his gourmet catfish sandwich on sweet potato rolls; and, new to this year’s lineup, Mita’s Michelin-starred chefs Miguel Guerra and Tatiana Mora will be serving their acclaimed vegetable-forward cuisine.


New to this year’s lineup, Ben’s Chili Bowl will serve its signature half smokes, while Cava joins the roster with its Mediterranean-inspired fare. In the bustling Market Square Food Hall, guests will find returning familiar favorites, including King St. Oyster Bar serving its lobster rolls, Roaming Rooster offering the OG Nashville fried chicken sandwich, and Duke’s Grocery with its proper burger. Guests can find frozen treats from Dolcezza and Clayboy’s Shaved Ice, and Ladurée will offer its iconic macarons. Design Cuisine returns once again as the tournament’s concessionaire..
