PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

 

SHUTTLE BUS - $10 (taxes and fees apply)

Starting in 2024, we will be providing new shuttle buses and routes for our fans, utilizing the UDC/Van Ness metro station as our off-site pickup location. 

 

Please note the new Shuttle bus route locations, all shuttle buses will pick-up and drop-off at:

  • UDC Van Ness Metro Stop, 4200 Connecticut Ave, NW
    • no longer offering shuttle pickup / off-site parking at Friendship Heights
  • Rock Creek Park Tennis Center, at the corner of 16th Street and Morrow
    • Please note: The shuttle bus stop is no longer near the tournament Box Office.

Shuttles will begin operating at 9am each day and run every half hour. You may metro to the UDC/Van Ness stop and then proceed to the street level to catch the shuttle, or park in one of multiple parking garages close by within walking distance. See a list below of those garages locations:

PARKING (ONSITE - $50)

Limited onsite parking may be available in the grass field (Lot B) at the Rock Creek Tennis Center. If available, the daily parking fee is $50 per car on a first come first, serve basis. Payment must be made with a credit card at the entrance to the parking lot.

Address: 5220 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20011 (Patrons will be directed from 16th Street onto Morrow Drive where police and staff will further instruct)

Be sure to check the official tournament app, website, or social media to confirm daily parking availability. In the event of rain, the National Park Service will close the grass fields to all vehicles to preserve the natural resources of the park. 

If onsite parking is not an option, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PARK IN THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBORHOOD. Nonresident cars will be ticketed and towed due to restrictions implemented by Metropolitan Police and DDOT. 

Please respect the fact this event is held in a residential community and refrain from parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. Only local traffic will be allowed on nearby streets; any vehicles that do not have a government issued and approved resident parking pass will be ticketed and towed.

 

ACCESSIBLE PARKING - Dedicated accessible parking spots are located near the front of Lot A (Passholder Lot). Please have proper identification visible for parking lot staff to guide you to the correct spaces.

RIDESHARE PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF (CARTER BARRON)

Rideshare facilities are located on the grounds of the Carter Barron Amphitheater, adjacent to the amphitheater's box office. Rideshare drivers will be directed to the Carter Barron Amphitheater Box Office Access Road (also known as Carter Barron Amphitheater Box Office Circle), the entrance to which is located at 4850 Colorado Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20011. Due to the residential neighborhood, DDOT has geofenced all rideshare apps to ONLY drop off and pick up along the Carter Barron Amphitheater box office access road. No pickups or drop-offs will be permitted on Colorado Avenue NW.

 

METRO BUS

Metro buses S2, S4 and S9 (express) will drop off at 16th St. & Colorado Avenue.
